Kitchn alternative: how Adlio compares for agencies launching Meta ads (2026)

Kitchn is a serious agency tool: eight ad channels, a spreadsheet-style launch sheet, a QA engine and client approvals, from EUR 499 a month for five ad accounts. Adlio does the Meta part of that job for small agencies, priced per person instead of per client account. Here is where each one wins.

How we compared

Everything about Kitchn in this article comes from kitchn.io (home page, pricing page and agency page), checked on 24 September 2026; the prices match what we found on 23 September. Everything about Adlio comes from the product as it ships today and from our pricing page. Kitchn shows prices in euros by default, with a switch to dollars and pounds; Adlio charges euros in the eurozone. So the comparison below is euros against euros, excluding VAT.

We are Adlio. Read this as a structured comparison from a vendor with a stake, and check anything that matters to you on their site.

What Kitchn does well

Kitchn is built for paid social teams and says so plainly: its agency page is aimed at teams that "value structure and repeatability" and "care about reducing mistakes". It launches to eight channels from one spreadsheet-style launch sheet, imports straight from Google Drive and Dropbox and matches files to placements by name, supports nearly every Meta format (collection, catalog carousel, flexible, existing posts and partnership ads), and adds a QA engine that checks "typos, client wording, asset specs and the enhancements you meant to flip" before anything ships. It keeps creative enhancements off: it "tracks 86 creative enhancements" and "all remain off unless you specifically turn them on". Its customers include agencies such as Bloom and Misfit and brands such as PetLab and VShred.

If your agency launches on several platforms, works from Drive and wants review and approval inside the tool, Kitchn covers more of that than Adlio does.

What it costs an agency

Monthly list prices in euros, excluding VAT, from both pricing pages. Kitchn's figure assumes Launch Team plus EUR 99 for every account above five; Adlio's assumes Team plus EUR 49 for every person above three.

Your agencyKitchnAdlio
3 people, 5 client accountsEUR 499EUR 299
5 people, 10 client accountsEUR 994EUR 397
10 people, 15 client accountsEUR 1,489 (or Launch Elite at EUR 1,999)EUR 642
10 people, 5 client accountsEUR 499EUR 642

The pattern is simple. Kitchn charges for client accounts, Adlio for people. If your client list grows faster than your team, which is how most small agencies grow, Adlio stays cheaper. If you have many people working on a handful of large accounts, Kitchn's unlimited seats win. Check the upload cap too: an agency that launches more than 900 ads a month on Launch Team pays for extra uploads or moves to Launch Elite.

The differences that change your week

1. Breadth versus one job

Kitchn is an operations platform for paid social: several channels, a sheet you live in, QA and approvals. Adlio does one job, getting a folder of creatives into a client's Meta ad account correctly, and leaves review to Ads Manager. If you want one tool for all channels and all review, that is Kitchn. If your agency is mostly Meta and you want the launch step to be quick and safe, Adlio does that for less.

2. Paused by construction

Adlio creates every ad paused, with no setting that changes that, so a batch always waits for a person in Ads Manager. Kitchn's public pages describe launching live ("Your ads go live in 30 seconds") and rely on its QA engine and approvals to catch problems first. Both are real safety models; ours is simply that nothing can spend until someone switches it on. More on why in the pre-launch QA checklist.

3. Who may launch where

On Adlio Team, a member logs in with their own email, needs no role in the client's Meta business portfolio, sees only the client accounts you share, and has launch rights per account. How that compares to Meta's own roles is in Meta ad account roles for agencies. Kitchn gives everyone a seat at no extra cost; its public pages do not describe per-account launch rights.

4. Getting started

Kitchn leads with a demo and a 14-day trial. Adlio's first 15 ads are free with no card and no clock, so you can run one real client batch at your own pace before deciding.

Where Kitchn fits you better

  • You launch on TikTok, Google, Pinterest or Snapchat as well as Meta, from one place.
  • You want review, comments and client approval inside the tool rather than in Ads Manager.
  • You rely on catalog, collection, flexible or existing-post ads. Adlio does not create these today.
  • Your creatives live in Google Drive or Dropbox and you want placement matching by file name.
  • You have many people on a few large accounts, where unlimited seats beat a price per person.

See the best bulk ad launchers for Meta ads for how the rest of the field lines up, and the agency page for how Adlio fits an agency week.

Trying both

Both tools create ads inside your existing Meta ad accounts, so there is nothing to migrate. Connect Facebook to Adlio, save each client account's settings once, and launch one batch. The first 15 ads are free; see how bulk upload works and pricing.

Frequently asked questions

Is Adlio cheaper than Kitchn?+

For most small agencies, yes. On 24 September 2026 Kitchn Launch Team is EUR 499 per month for 5 ad accounts and 900 ad uploads, with unlimited seats, and every extra ad account is EUR 99 per month. Adlio Team is EUR 299 per month for three people with no limit on ad accounts or uploads, then EUR 49 per extra person; Adlio Solo is EUR 39 for one person. Three people on ten client accounts cost EUR 299 on Adlio and EUR 994 on Kitchn. Kitchn gets cheaper than Adlio once you have many people on few accounts, because its seats are unlimited.

What does Kitchn do that Adlio does not?+

A lot: launching to eight channels (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads Demand Gen, Pinterest, Snapchat, plus LinkedIn, Spotify and AppLovin in beta), a spreadsheet-style launch sheet with bulk editing, Google Drive and Dropbox import with placement matching by file name, collection, catalog, flexible and existing-post ads, up to 10 headlines per ad, a QA engine that checks ads before launch, and in-tool previews with comments and approvals. If those matter to your agency, Kitchn is the stronger product.

Does Kitchn create ads paused?+

Its agency page describes the last step as "Review & Launch: Your ads go live in 30 seconds". Whether ads can be created paused is not stated on its public pages. In Adlio every ad is created paused and there is no way to create an active one; you switch the batch on in Ads Manager.

Why should I trust a comparison written by one of the two vendors?+

You should not take it on faith. Every claim about Kitchn below comes from kitchn.io on the date stated, quoted where possible, and the section on where Kitchn fits you better is meant seriously.
