About

Adlio is a bulk uploader for Meta ads, built by people who launch them

Adlio takes a folder of images, videos and carousels and turns it into paused, consistently named ads in Meta Ads Manager, with every Advantage+ creative enhancement switched off. It exists because building the same sixty ads by hand every week is data entry, not media buying.

Who is behind it

Adlio is developed and operated by Brodaro Digital, a company based in the Netherlands, and grew out of running Meta ads for its own products. The workflow the product replaces is the one we ran ourselves: duplicate, rename, switch the enhancements off, check the pixel, repeat.

Adlio uses the official Meta Marketing API and passed Meta's App Review for the permissions it needs. Adlio is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of Meta Platforms, Inc. How your connected account is protected is on the security page; what we store and for how long is in the privacy policy.

What the product refuses to do

Four constraints that are design decisions, not settings.

  • Every ad is created paused

There is no code path in Adlio that creates an active ad. A batch lands in Ads Manager paused, you review it, you set it live. We think that is the only responsible default for a tool that can create a hundred ads in one action.

  • Advantage+ enhancements are off, explicitly

Adlio sends an explicit opt-out for every creative enhancement key the live Marketing API accepts, plus the separate music opt-out, on every creative it creates. The list is verified against the live API with a probe script, never guessed.

  • One ad account never leaks into another

Page, Instagram account, pixel, copy, naming pattern, UTM template, enhancement toggles and EU DSA fields are stored per ad account and read only when launching into that account. We treat any cross-account leak as a bug of the highest severity.

  • We do one job

Adlio launches. It does not generate creatives, suggest audiences, move budgets or write rules. Ads Manager does the rest, and we say so on every page where it matters, including which competitors fit better if you need those things.

How the guides are written

The blog is organised in topic clusters around one job: launching Meta ads in volume without mistakes. The articles are written by the Adlio team and follow a fixed set of editorial rules:

  • Competitor prices and features are checked on the vendor's own pages before publishing, dated in the article, and marked "not stated" when a vendor does not publish something.
  • Prices are compared like for like per currency: dollars against dollars, pounds against pounds.
  • Claims about Meta come from Meta's documentation or from an article that cites it; a claim that only circulates in secondary guides is not attributed to Meta.
  • No invented statistics. Worked examples are labelled as examples; our own working methods are labelled as ours.
  • Every comparison names where the other tool fits you better.
  • Every article is run through an automated checker before it goes live (title and description length, internal links, sources, cluster structure) and is dated when its content changes.

If you find a number that is wrong or a claim that is out of date, email us and we will correct the article and bump its updated date.
